Hi, Thanks for all your help.
What are your thoughts on this? https://www.bluenile.com/diamond-details/LD10429522
Any other suggestions in this range?
Hi John,
I think this diamond is a good value. At 7mm, it has the spread of a 1.3ct diamond even though it’s 1.2ct. It has AGS 0 Ideal proportions and it’s well-priced. The only reason why I provide the alternative below is because the 1.21 H VVS2 has table > depth, which results in a fairly large table reflection (the large white circle in the center).
The 1.22 H VVS2 has the more normal table < depth, which I think results in better optical symmetry (you can see the difference in how the arrows appear). However the trade-off is size. At 6.81mm, it’s the size of an average 1.2ct diamond. Which you put a greater value on is up to you. Both are well-priced VVS2’s, so you’re not paying a high premium for the clarity. I didn’t see other lower clarity options that were eye-clean and clearly better deals.

Yes, they’re both VVS2 so both will definitely be eye-clean.
Thanks so much Joe, appreciate your help. Everything should be eye clean on these two?
