Hi Joe – thanks for all the help to all of us.
Slightly unrelated but curious – why the preference for Ritani and James Allen?
As for my main inquiry, I am a looking at the ff for an engagement ring:
1.5ct, VVS1, D

1.5ct, VVS2, D

Which is, your opinion, the best? (if you have the time, pls share your opinions also on each)
Lastly, feel free to suggest alternatives. Thanks again!

I edited your post to remove any links to SA. They have unvalidated, garbage models that provide a false sense of numerical precision and shouldn’t be supported.
Of the three, I would go with the 1.5 D VS1. It has the best proportions and optical symmetry. The 1.5 D VVS1 has a slightly higher pavilion angle that prevents the arrows from showing up dark. The 1.5 D VVS2 has a shallow pavilion angle. The 1.5 D VS1 would be GIA EX/AGS 0 Ideal. There’s no visual difference in the clarity grades.
There isn’t a price available for the 1.5 D VS1. You might consider the options below and then go with whichever is less.

It’s nice. It will look similar to the 1.5ct D VS1 you originally posted. I just don’t see why you’d pay $200 more for it compare to the ones I suggested.
Hi Joe – again for the quick response. I wont be purchasing directly so my options are limited to the stones I linked 🙁
Whats the better option between the 1.53ct VS or 1.5ct VS? Assuming a similar price point.
Would have loved to saved a few hundred through the links you referred to but my hands are tied. You’ve been a great help – thanks again!
They will look very similar, there’s not much separating them. I’d say go with the first one you posted, the 1.50 D VS1.
Hi again Joe, tried to finalize the order w/ suppliers but unfortunately the diamond was no longer available.
So here I am again back to the drawing board..
The three new options are as follows:
#1 (previously sent w/ was similar to the 1.5ct which was already taken):

I noticed #3 is Ideal/Excellent in the cut estimator, but I wasn’t as impressed in the image/video link. I’m torn between #1 and #3 – what’s your opinion on this?
As always, I appreciate highly the time you are taking in answering my questions..
Thanks Joe. How about this one, would be glad to hear about your thoughts on it.

How does it compare to the previous 1.5ct, vs1 D?
