Hi Joe,
We are looking for a lab Radiant diamond but specifically want an elongated look between a L/W ratio of 1.4 – 1.5 and 1.6 – 2.3 carats. This diamond will be set in yellow gold, and we prefer a more warmer look (than the icy blue look). Our budget can stretch to $4700USD if needed. We have found a couple of options but could we please have your opinion on whether these are good options. :
Thank you,
I’d prefer a cleaner VS2 compared for the 1.61 F VS2. I think the 2.27 G VS1 is brownish. And I think the 2.30 G VS1 is more watery. Of the three, I’d pick the 1.61 F VS2 (no need to max out budget).
You might also consider the options below. The 1.58 G VVS2 is cleaner than the 1.61 F VS2, with a better color hue to me. The 2.03 G VS1 has better color than the 2.27 G VS1 and trades a bit of carats to come in under budget. And then the 2.03 F VS1 bumps the color back up. The two 2cts have a similar spread compared to the 2.3ct options.

Hi Joe, thank you so much for your help. In the end I picked the 2.03 F VS1 and can’t wait for it to arrive.
