Hi Joe, thank you for all the helpful information on your site. I’m currently looking to purchase a lab made oval diamond in the 1.2-1.5 carat range for a max of $5000 CAD ($4000 USD). Using your tool, I am leaning towards one of the five below but definitely open to suggestions as well. The diamond will be set in a yellow gold band. Of these I like options 1 and 4. I didn’t see an option with lower clarity that I liked that was significantly cheaper than these two. The only potential alternative I saw was for the more expensive 1.4 D VVS2 – for that amount I think it’s more worthwhile to hit 1.5ct. But options 1 and 4 are might be better values if 1.5ct isn’t as important.
