Hi,
Thinking about purchasing this oval: https://www.brilliantearth.com/lab-diamonds-search/view_detail/8969969/ It would be set in rose gold.
Questions:
Table is 60.5%, so 0.5% over the recommended 60%. What will this affect, if anything?
Will it be eye clean? The little black specs concern me.
How does the cut look? Sharp enough?
I want it to sparkle, but I know these videos can be deceiving. Trying to avoid a bad bow tie, but I don’t see one here. Thoughts?
Thanks for the help!
The proportions are fine (including the 60.5% table). It doesn’t show bow-tie, which is good. It’s a brown G based on the CVD process, but in your case that’s fine because you’re getting a rose gold setting. The black crystals reflect around the diamond, but they’re small.
On the whole, I think it’s worth buying. I didn’t see any better options for the price. If the crystals do end up bothering you, you can always return it.
