Hi, for James Allen, do ‘true heart’ lab grown diamonds automatically fall into the ideal zone of your cut estimator app? If not, why are true hearts so much more expensive? Is it possible to find a non-true heart that is fits right in the centre of your estimator?
Can you suggest a 2 ct round lab grown diamond that fits into the ideal part of your estimator that costs around $5K CAD? I can’t seem to find that on James Allen, but there are other sites that can satisfy that price but I’m worried they won’t be as good as true hearts. Maybe I’m overthinking this!
Yes, True Hearts will be GIA EX/AGS 0 Ideal. That’s not the reason why they’re more expensive though – they’re more expensive because of the branding premium. You might consider the diamonds below – they fit within your budget and have similarly optimal proportions and optical symmetry.
