Greetings! I am on a tight time-crunch so I really appreciate any help you can provide sooner than later.
There are two diamonds from local retailer connections I’m torn between. They are both in the 1.5 ct neighborhood, with one being a G color and the other being an H color. The G is $9k and the H is $8.5k. They both look eye clean in person. The G inclusion on the table has a very tiny black spot when the owner showed it to me through the strong magnification lens.
What are your thoughts regarding one vs. the other? Better stone? Best value? Your recommendation? Thanks in advance!

I was able to find a picture of the G (listed below, price is from January when it was last listed so it doesn’t reflect current Covid market conditions), but I wasn’t able to find a picture of the H. I can see what you’re talking about with the black crystal in the G. The inclusion plot of the H also shows a crystal in the middle of the table – without a picture I can’t tell what color it is. If it’s black then they’re similar in that regard.
The feather in the H is on the pavilion side, so it won’t be as obvious as it is in the G. I’d want to see a picture of the H to evaluate if the clouds were affecting the clarity. If both were eye-clean to you, you didn’t notice a difference in color between the G and the H, the H was clear, and the H showed the arrows as well as the G, then I’d go with the H. It has a bit wider spread.
But this is just a guess since I can only see one of the diamonds. I think you’ll have to pick the one that stood out most to you. I think both are fair prices if you compare them to current prices in the price curves.
