I bought a diamond which is certified by GIA in May of 2018. But I only find the laser inscription number with Gxxxxxxx on the stone, without IA. Is it true or is it a fake diamond? Thank you very much in advance.

It should have the full GIA, not just a G. Maybe you can take it to a jeweler to compare the diamond with the inclusion map?
