Hello Joe!
Why don’t they specify type 2 on this cert. I don’t want any blue hue. Ty!
It’s not possible to tell the color from this video. This is due to the lighting (almost grayscale) and the limited face-up view (color is judged through the pavilion).
Type II isn’t enough to determine if it’s blue.
Does this have a blue hue? I think all the others do.
The 4.20 G VVS2 is not blue, it has a yellow hue similar to a natural diamond.
Yes, the other G’s on JA’s site that match your criteria are all blue – this is the only yellow one. All of the F’s are blue too. There are a couple of non-blue E’s, but I thought the D below was better for the price than the E’s. The D doesn’t hit 4ct, but it does hit a 10mm diameter. However, if you’re prioritizing carats, the 4.2 G VVS2 is bigger.

Thank you so much. It’s crazy how many are blue. It makes it so much harder to find one.
could you send me anything on JA between 3.70-4.25 that doesn’t have a blue hue. It’s really difficult for me to see. I like a really nice cut. Something that falls in your diamond screener. and hca under 2. Thank you!
