I identified a diamond a couple days ago using your “Diamond Prices” tool which was actually on the Efficient Frontier line. However, when I ran the tool again today using the same criteria, the diamond did not appear on the graph at all. Is there a reason for this? I initially thought that the diamond was sold, but it looks like it it still available. This is the diamond I was looking at, https://www.bluenile.com/ca/diamond-details/LD11663532
I only show diamonds that have pictures available because I think it’s important to see the diamond before buying it.
Blue Nile changed their data feed, so this past weekend I updated my code to parse the new feed. Today I saw that I was not properly removing the diamonds that do not have 360 degree views, so I updated my code to remove them.
This diamond does not have a picture available, which is why you saw it a few days ago and why it disappeared today. I wouldn’t buy an I color diamond without seeing a picture since you can’t tell the depth of color or the tint (yellow, brown, or gray).
