One thing that gives me pause with this diamond is that I can see faint grain lines on all of the facets. The certificate doesn’t mention any surface or internal graining, but I try to avoid recommending these stones because I think these might be cases where the fluorescence interacts with the grain lines to reduce transparency (this is my speculation of why fluorescence can be associated with haziness).
If you compare it to the D SI1 below, I think you can see the difference. I wish the white crystal in the D was closer to the edge for a full recommendation. It helps that it’s white, but it’s still 0.18×0.26mm in size in the middle of the table.
You might also consider the E option. The difference between E and D is difficult to distinguish and would save you $2k.
