I just purchased this diamond:
https://www.jamesallen.com/loose-diamonds/round-cut/1.07-carat-g-color-vs1-clarity-ideal-cut-sku-8279751
I’m very happy with it. The color looks very clear compared to many others I looked at in that price range and all the other Cs are right where I want them. But then this one popped up seemingly right after I purchased :/

The clarity to my eye is exactly identical, and same with the other Cs. But it’s a little bigger and a little less expensive! The biggest difference I notice is some white imperfections on the top of the diamond, whereas the other one is cleaner where it counts (no imperfections I can see on the top, just the sides)
Do you think that imperfection could be the difference in price? And would it be super noticeable to the naked eye? For the extra size and lower price, I would be tempted to switch to it. The diamond I purchased has not even shipped yet.
Thanks!
Both of these look like brown G’s to me. If you compare them in side view with the 1.07 G SI1 below (which is yellow), you might be able to see the difference.
I think the options below would save you even more money. They’re all greater than 6.5mm in diameter, so they have essentially the same spread as the diamonds you’ve found.
