considering a lab grown diamond a jared’s brick and mortor store IGI LG380912484 are you able to look up and see what you think? Also what would you recommend from james allen 2.50-3.0 f e d color budget 17,000. Thank you
I can’t judge this just from the grading report. As an F, you’d want to check the color (avoid brown CVD and blue HPHT). I also can’t tell if it’s eye-clean – the report is showing a cloud and crystal in the middle of the table. The pavilion angle is a little shallow. However, that gives it the spread of a 3.2ct diamond, so if you liked the size, then sometimes the lower pavilion angle can still show nice optical symmetry.
Unfortunately, I don’t see any diamonds that match your criteria and that really stand out to me in JA’s current inventory. Would have to wait a bit for some new inventory.
On the photo i took its classified as a type 2(II) and i just noticed the report is from 2012 so maybe that is concerning?
81438070 at ja and correction on the cert it was 8/19. So we went back to the store and took the diamond outside and to me it was blue like it had flo however cert says no flo is that what you meant?
and these as well 8749830
8143870

Type II isn’t specific enough, as there’s type IIa and type IIb. Type IIb would contain boron, which would give it the blue undertone. If the diamond you saw in person looked blue, then it’s likely type IIb, although I can’t say for sure.
Of these choices, I like 8749830 (looks like you already reserved it). Nice optical symmetry and by far the best price.
For the price of the other options, I’d rather hit the top end of your carat range. The black crystals are 0.1mm wide, less than the width of a human hair in real size terms.

Thank you so much, at james allen i am open to 2.50 to 3.0 D would be great do you see anything there? Other than no resale value on the lab stones what is your opinion on getting one vs earth stones? Also how can I check for the brown cvd or the blue hpht if not on the map? They where going to sell this stone for 14k and in the table you can se what looks like a little tiny black hair if you look super super close but if you turn the stone a certain way you cant see it so they said they can set it as such.
