It’s AGS 1 EX, right outside AGS 0 Ideal, so it will still be nice, but it doesn’t stand out to me. With a larger table and higher pavilion angle, it doesn’t have the same optical symmetry (showing 8 clean arrows) that I typically like to recommend. The compensation for the proportions is a slightly larger spread – it has the average diameter of a 3.1ct diamond.
This is essentially the same price as the 3.01 H VS1 I recommended from James Allen, since even though it is $41k, that price includes $1500 towards your ring. And I think that one has better optical symmetry.
