What drew you to this diamond? It’s very nice with great proportions, but it’s still expensive for the specs. I think you could either save $6k or at least go up in size at the same color and clarity.

Hi Joe, thanks for the suggestions. The proportions just seemed good to me that is why I picked it. In addition, the clarity characteristics (i.e. pinpoint, cloud, etc.) looked okay (does clarity characteristics even matter?) In addition, I filtered based on L/W ratio of 1; I see round diamonds with L/W ratios of 1.01 are a better deal.
