I’m in the market for a 2.5 to 2.6 ct round brilliant lab grown diamond. Ideal proportions are important to her but I am having a hard time finding one within my budget. I am also overwhelmed by the various differing opinions on what the ideal proportions actually are.
Would you be able to help me locate one online that is within my budget of $8k?
I also had a difficult time finding a nice one that was eye-clean, not blue/brown, and with nice proportions/symmetry under $8k. With a strict cut-off of $8k, the 2.39 F VS1 was the best I saw but doesn’t match the carats. The 2.5ct G VS1 matches the carats, but goes over $8k. The difference in diameters between the two diamonds is only 0.1mm though, so it depends on how much you really need to hit 2.5ct.
