Thank you so much for this site. I have read a TON about diamonds, selection criteria, etc. and your site is wonderful. I think I have settled on a diamond with the help of a jeweler I’m working with. It is CVD grown, so would I be able to notice brown hue when seeing it in person? Any other major things to look out for before purchasing? Thanks

Some CVD’s are better than others, so it’s impossible to tell from the grading report alone whether you’ll see the color. Similarly, you can’t judge an emerald cut from the grading report alone; you’d need to a video to see how the facets align and how the inclusions look. Or you’ll have to trust your jeweler. I can’t add much more with just the grading report.
